GoodSense Milk of Magnesia Original, Saline Liquid Laxative for Constipation Relief
At a Glance: Constipation is a common side effect of many cancer treatments and pain medications. Milk of Magnesia may be taken in a dose of 30-60 mL by mouth daily as needed to relieve occasional constipation. Do not exceed 60 mL in a 24 hour period. Dose may be divided to twice daily.
Details: Chemotherapy drugs affect cells that are actively growing and dividing, such ascells lining the mouth and the gastrointestinal tract. This can result in nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, diarrhea, constipation and changes in taste and smell. GoodSense Milk of Magnesia relieves occasional constipation (irregularity) and generally produces a bowel movement in one half hour to 6 hours for gentle, dependable, comfortable and cramp free relief. It is a liquid laxative.
