Details: Melatonin is a hormone produced in the pineal gland, which helps to regulate sleep and wake cycles. Getting proper rest helps you function during the day. Per our oncology team this is safe to use in the short term, more effective in older patients. Do not recommend > 5 mg daily. Taking one Nature Made Melatonin 3mg tablet one hour before bedtime may help to support sleep.
